Diagnostics
Common failures and what they mean
Compressor burnout
A burnout requires proper system clean-up, new driers and root-cause correction or the replacement compressor will fail too.
Unit will not start in cold weather
Low ambient issues and head pressure controls; common on outdoor refrigeration units in winter.
Oil spots or hissing at the unit
Active refrigerant leak. Find and repair it rather than repeatedly recharging.
